Fourth Grading Period

          Information Communication Technology (ICT) subject during the fourth grading period. The last grading period before graduation. Again I learn a lot this grading like the previous grading. Especially in our lesson about the Widows Movie Maker. The steps on how to create a movie, the parts, the importance of learning this and many other techniques that will totally improve me in making a movie. I also learn about video tools and how to edit pictures using the Adobe Photoshop. I learn the different parts on how to use them how to edit properly and also the importance of learning.

            I learn a lot from this grading period. Again sometimes I cannot follow because I am not totally familiar with the lesson especially in the adobe Photoshop. I don’t have enough knowledge about this but there is my teachers who guides us and teach us very well. And for me it helps a lot because I really want to learn those. Ma’am Pantaleon and ma’am Vera Cruz is really a good teacher. They really teach our lessons very well and they give all instruction in making projects clear. It truly help me to improve.

            And the end of the grading period. It is not really hard as what I said and observe in the previous grading. We only have to exert effort and time to learn. Enhance also our skills in operating those applications. It will really help . Jusst try and try what we learn. And this is my oppotunity to Thank My teachers who are patiently teaches us very well. Thank you teachers.

My Dream, My Future

Dreams in a Paradise

                Life is too short so we must enjoy every moment in our life. It is very wonderful to live in this world. With dreams, happiness, family, and even a little bit bitterness in life. And during my childhood life, I start to dream for my life and even for myself also. This simple dream grows as I grow up and be more mature.

            I want to have a peaceful and happy life. And I want to help and to be a successful. I want to have a comfortable simple and happy life. And I believe that being an accountant someday will help me to pursue this dream in my life. I really want this, I love this and this is what I wish for. I want to have my own office sitting in a soft and comfortable chair with many paper works in front of me that are waiting also for my signs. I want to work in a famous bank in the entire Philippines. I want to earn money for my family and for myself also so that I have enough money to use when I want to buy something for myself. Although many problems and challenges will come and will test me how strong I am, I will try to fight and I will not stop dreaming over and over again.

            This is my simple dream. But this time, I want to enjoy my life in this world a place of paradise that God gave to us. I want to experience how beautiful to live in spite of many problems. So I better pursue my dreams. Not only for me, for myself and for my future but it is for my family who support me and love me unconditionally although I suffer all the bitterness in life. It is really happy to live with your family in this world with full of love, dreams and happiness.

Change Starts with Me

Imperfections needs change

          I am not really perfect. I am a simple person with a wonderful life. I make bad things. Sometimes I am moody or sometimes happy and I can make crazy jokes. And I also start fights. But I am loving person not really perfect but a god fearing person. You can trust me although I am not really good and best person when in comes in solving problems but I can keep secrets.

            This is me. Living in this wonderful but not really perfect and peaceful world. I have my loving and caring parents. I can’t say that I have a perfect life, nor perfect family and perfect love but I can say that I have a simple happy life. But this is not the end. Because everything is simple and there were many problems in this world. We have to suffer and overcome all this challenges that will come to our life. And I must face it will all the strength, trust, patience in myself. I am not that really good person because I can make things go wrong but as long as I live here in this world I have all the chance to change. Change all the things that are not good and continue to boost all the good things that have been with me. I can also share the things that have been change to others. For my great future I need to start it with a great attitudes and determination with patience.

            Learn to be good. If changes are needed, don’t change the good one but change the bad. Don’t change yourself to be more negative instead change it to positive. You must change for the better. I will inspire others as I change myself to be better. We have all the chance to change and grab it all.

Kannawidan Festival

Wonderful Festival

            One of the festivals we are celebrating in the month of January till February is the Kannawidan Festival which was held at the Quirino Stadium. With so many enjoyable ride and the trade fair.

            In the trade fair we can see the entire one town, one product of the different municipalities here in the Ilocos Sur. Some are foods like the puto, ice cream, bagnet, puto bumbung and many other delicious and nutritious foods. There are also many vegetables and fruits that are really affordable and fresh that is not found here in Vigan. I also see strawberries that are very sweet and delicious. There are many plants. Some are flowering plants and some are fruit bearing plants. I saw many orchids with different colors of flowers. I saw also much furniture that is sold many beautiful and fashionable jewelries and bags, different displays and handicrafts and also T-shirts and products of Vigan City. There are also exciting and amazing rides that are available to ride on. And during the night till midnight, there were wonderful shows that are shown in the stage. There are different pageants, dancing contest and many other shows that can be viewed by many people. There are also artist that visited us and perform in the stage. And it was so wonderful and enjoy when they start to perform.

            Kannawidan Festival is very enjoyable. It was amazing and I enjoy o go there and taste the products that I wish to. I am really proud to all the municipalities with their different OTOP that are sold in the trade fair. They really had a great job. And the trade fair was really wonderful. He place were very suitable for the Kannawidan Festival because it is wide. And that was the Kannawidan that ends last February 4, 2014.

New Year, New Me

Change for the better

           Every New Year, we are preparing our own new year’s resolution. We are fun of buying lucky charm things because we do believe that these things will help us and bring luck to our life for this year. And we are doing all the things that bring luck to us although others don’t believe.

            This 2014, year of the wooden horse, although this is not my year of birth, I believe that this year will be lucky to me. I don’t have any resolution this year because I know that I don’t know in myself that I can do it. Because of my observation in my previous years, I create my new year’s resolution and I can’t follow it. I just believe that this year will be luckier for me. I will do my best to change the things that are not good to me and to others. Again I will build new and happy memories this year with the persons that are there for me. I will just be myself and do all the things that I am not comfortable with. I will study harder for my future and will pursue all my dreams this year. I want to be a good girl and have a high grades. I hope I will do it.

            Every person is given a chance to change for the better. It depends to what they want. If they are really serious of it and they can do it. But as long as every person is given a chance every year, they can really do it. It is not about lucky charms or beliefs. It depends to ourselves if we want change or not. Just know how to respect yourself and others. Know also to trust yourself and god for the best.

Third Grading Period

Our subject in ICT (Information Communication Technology) this 3^rd grading period is very interesting and enjoyable. We learn a lot this grading period. We had a great time with our practice teacher Ms. Daisy Pantaleon that we’ve met last December.

            During our class in ICT, We learn about HTML Images. The different Images Tags, Src Attribute, HTML Link, about the Windows Movie Make and many more. Again we had also a hand on activity. We continue making our activities in HTML. Although our workstation is not working, I still continue to make my activities on the other workstation. Sometimes I cannot follow but I learn to ask question’s to my teacher and also to my classmates who are already familiar to our topic. And that’s the beginning of learning in the lessons. Because every lesson can be learn depending on you.

It is not really hard for me again this grading period as what I said during the past grading periods. It needs more time to study my lessons and enhance my capability in making those activity and exercises. And I want to learn this all so that I can use this in my daily activity in case that is needed. I will not hard up of following those again. I am very thankful to my teachers because they are always there teaching us and giving more ideas about ICT. 

Essence of Christmas

Extraordinary Christmas

            During the 25^th day of December, we are celebrating Christmas. And we all believe that this is the date of birth of our God. And this is the month of love, happiness, sharing, giving and forgiving to others. May I ask something? What is the true essence of Christmas? What should it be and why?

            Christmas is the most awaited day or event of some people because this is the day that they can see, hug and kiss their love ones. This is when they have a complete family of some people. Their love ones that is not with them, if they are working abroad or any place will really sacrifice to go home to their families during Christmas eve. Some are busy preparing gifts, toys, and foods to share and give to others. Some also prepare to have beautiful decorations in their houses. It is either inside or outside of the house. There is Christmas lights, lanterns, belens, Christmas tree and many other decorations for Christmas to beautify their house and always present too feel the reality and spirit of Christmas. They have also a lot of foods that is being prepared in the table. Some of the children’s  are very happy and they are always carolling to gain money for Christmas.

            There were so many bright ideas that have been shared for Christmas. Christmas is really beautiful, happy and extraordinary event that we are celebrating. But Christmas can be a simple one. It is not all about money, many gifts and foods and beautiful expensive decorations. It should be simple as it is. We should know how to love, care, share, give, forgive and trust god in everything we do. A simple and happy celebration, simple gift, foods, lanterns and decorations is more than enough to feel the true essence and spirit of Christmas. Celebrate with your family and spread love and happiness.

Climate Change

       

            Climate Change is the change in the average of weather conditions at a place after a period of years. How does climate change occur and affect us in our life? Is this dangerous to us? How can we prevent Climate Change? Then we will found out more about climate change.

            The elements of climate change through time as well as from place to place. Indirect evidence of climate trends in the past is revealed in fossils, lakes, ocean beds, peat bogs. glacial deposits and soils. Widths of annual growth rings in trees correlate with temperature and rainfall fluctuations. There are different explanations about the climate change that happen in the world. There are also different reasons and effects of it to us. One of the reason and effect why climate change exists is the different human activities that is done. Like cutting of trees that are not replaced. Burning of trees in the forest, throwing garbage anywhere. This may cause pollution. And pollution can also result to climate change. It is dangerous to us specially to our health. Because of what we are ding, our world will be destroyed.

            We should be careful enough in our works to protect our mother nature that is given to us by god. It is a great gift to us. Come and join me to protect and save our mother nature from danger to avoid climate change. We should know how to discipline our selves to have a peaceful world./ Don't be too abusive because it can cause danger to us in the entire world.

Equal Rights, Equal Oppurtunity

         All persons are born with their own rights. Every one of us has different rights in this world in living because God created us with equal rights. But did we all achieve these equal rights for our own selves? And do you believe that if there is equal right there is also equal opportunity?

There are many rights of a person. But some of those are refusing to us. We cannot get the right that is for us. They are always violating those rights that are for us. There are many people that is bad enough to control our freedom and rights and control us. They only think about their own selves and not for us because those rights are very important to us. It may help us to live normal, more comfortable, happier and free if we can have it and free to do it at anytime and anywhere. But if it is violated, we are not so comfortable enough, we cannot achieve the true happiness and it is like that we are in prison that we cannot do what want.

We should learn and know all our rights here in this world. All of those rights to have more knowledge what to do. If we have all the opportunity to know and do all our rights, then do it. We should fight for our rights and grab all the opportunity to do it. Don’t be afraid because all of us have own rights.

"Going Global through English Language'

        In the month of October, the English Club officers and advisers as well as the Photography and Arts Club and the Theater Arts Club, prepare a warm welcome program for the English Math Celebration month. With the theme: “Going Global through the English Language”.

As we go through this month of October for the celebration that we are celebrating every month, there were many interesting activities and contest that were prepared by our dearest teachers and some student officers. They made different contests that can be participated by all of the students who are interested to join in the said contest or activities. They also set some seminars like the Seminar in Debate and Photography that is good for all of the students who want to learn more about it. Because they can apply were ever they wanted to go. And this activities may help us to improved and developed our minds, knowledge and skills and even or selves when we all participate to all of those. And this activities and contests help us to enhance our English languages to use were ever we go and anytime we want.

We should join activities in English so that all of us will enhance our selves to the Universal Language the English Language. We can use this in communicating with other people and other nations or even foreigners. We should enhance it so that it is pleasant to hear when we talk or use the English Language.

Science Month Celebration

Science in our Life

            We defined SCIENCE as the systematized body of knowledge based on fundamental facts through careful observations and experiments. Science is also a process of discoveries. This knowledge needs an experiment, deeper understanding, careful observation and other motivations. Because every person will encounter different science in our everyday life. Our environment is a science same through with the foods we eat, energy, the gravity of the earth, our body, plants animals and many other sciences.

            As we go on to our life, science is always there with us. Sometimes we encounter problems regarding science not only mathematics. But as we go on we can find solutions simply by using our own minds and imaginations about science or even our senses also for having these we can formulate experimentations or simply the solution of the problem. We also need other persons in doing this. Everyone of us should help one another. We can gather data’s to have deeper understanding about the said problem.  Those are involved in the solutions that we are looking for. By this we can help also others that are what we are looking for.

            Science have many branches and parts. But as we go on to the journey of our life science is always there so we should give importance to Science.

My Reflection in ICT 2nd Grading Period

            Information Communication Technology (ICT) is an interesting subject we can learn many things about computer and also the internet, I learn a lot to this subject. I learn how to manipulate ell the computer and on how to use the internet better.

            ICT is not really hard for me because if you want to learn, you can manipulate with you your own the computer by the hands on activity that the teacher will assigned to us. You can also follow the directions/rules that are written by the teacher in the blackboard this also test our capability in following the directions..

            ICT subject is important to me especially nowadays, modern technology are used we should know how to use the computer. We can go with the flow, we are not ignorant in manipulating the computer. We should learn how to manipulate it.
